Note Indigo built in Image panel and Indigo mount didn't work while I was connected to Indi - these did work before without Indi - probably due to slight different Indi Protocols ? Dont know for sureĪlso I was able to load FITS on Indi and RAW on Web interface at the same time - odd expected both o be same format Note the way I had it set up the image was shown in Ekos viewer (fits) and was also to upload images by click the link on the web page but the latter just uploads the image to ,in my case,downloads folder. Indigo is controlled (not only option) by using Http:\\192.168.235.1:7624 which I loaded both on Vista and Ubuntu desktop at the same time - I was able to control the camera in any of 3 ways - on either of he HTTP links or via Ekos. Plugged in Canon DSLR - as I had forgot - to switch the power on LOL - instantly Kstars/Ekos recognised the Canon and I was able to take an image.Īsked Kstars to slew to M31 - off it went - BUT so did CDC on Vista - Smooth but remember that I was using the simulator.įor some reason Indi wouldn't set up Telescope Aperture/Focal Length - I was using a camera lens - message failed to save configuration. Ekos/Kstars connected showing mount connected. note I had to plug in the wired ethernet and put in a Route as the Desktop is on another network. Then connected Indi Kstars/Ekos on Ubuntu 18 usinf a new profile which pointed to same IP address and port as CDC on Vista Ok Connected CDC on Vista to RPI3b+ Indigo Server - just point CDC to IP address and port - Mount shows up on Chart after "connect" button hit. Note Canon and GPS were recognised automatically no address set ups - didn't even have to input Canon sensor details etc - all done by Indigo Ran Telescope emulation on Indigo on RPI3b+ Ran Indigi Server on RPI3b+ acting as an AP (this is by default)Ħ. Loaded Kstars/Ekos on Ubuntu 18 desktopģ.

I truly wish I could be nicer about Indigosoftware but it seems they're not standing behind their product, and since my first and only transaction with them turned out this bad my only advice is to not do any business with these folks.For a bit of fun I set up a RPI3b+ with IndiGo Sky (std SD image which you download and write to SD card with appropriate s/w). Per AP they will be taking care of the issue until it is resolved so I don't expect I will need to use that option. Per suggestions from appleflaxen and slimshxvdy I could ask for the chargeback from the CC company, but I'll keep that in my back pocket for when I really need it. Any way, AP is following up on this again so let's see what happens. In my case, no reaction from Indigo (neither me or AP), so they're playing the quiet game and hope this goes away. AP then told me that vendors typically respond within 2-3 business days to fix what went wrong. They sent Indigo an email (I have copy) to resolve this issue asap. Update: I am currently going through Amazon Pay (AP) to get this issue resolved. I really do hope Amazon Pay is going to ban them from using their payment service, and to others looking for new legit software: Please refrain from doing business with this company, unless you want get scammed!

The people who run Indigo Software are preying on consumers. I sent a complaint to Amazon Pay and will move forward with a refund from my CC. Long story short it seems these crooks took my money without delivering the product they promised. You'll never be able to speak to a live person. Their automated phone system is set up so it redirects you to contacting them by email or a web form on their website. I continued to email them back, and attempted to speak to someone, but all to no avail.
Guess what, that one did never work and has already been used before.

A few emails later I finally get my first (and only) response that I should use the license key from the original email to activate Windows. Windows prompts me with a message that this license key has been used before.

Within the next 5 minutes I tried to activate my Windows 10 and guess what: "Unable to activate Windows". Well, I should have known better.Īfter a payment transaction via Amazon Pay, I received an email with license key. They seemed legit a veteran run company, partnered with Amazon Pay, and listed at the BetterBusinessBureau (BBB) with good ratings, and nothing else that threw a red flag. Despite my online research of their company I was scammed. In your endeavor, please avoid they'll take your money and run.

I only can imagine many people are currently looking to upgrade to Windows 10 since Microsoft is pulling the plug on Windows 7.
