Since all other experiences reported so far are positive, I think a more accurate assumption would be that you did, indeed, get a "bad one" but then, that's just my opinion. Couldn't get the setup where I wanted it. The saddle notches were not properly done. The piezo switching was idiotic, and not very usable live. The gold hardware tarnished more easily than any I've ever seen. The tailpiece wouldn't fit onto the studs without forcing it. I've bought Gibsons with better quality control than that i2p. Not a case of "I may have just gotten a bad one". There were so many things wrong with that guitar, both design-wise and manufacturing-wise, that I believe it's safe to assume all similiar products are dogshit.
